Birmingham Design Festival is a brilliant celebration of design held across two days in June. You can expect a day of talks from some of our favourite designers in the world, delivered in one venue, in addition to a day of fun workshops if you fancy getting more practical.

Founded in 2017, BDF was created by local designers Daniel Alcorn and Luke Tonge to add a much-needed flagship design event to the local calendar. They’re great lads who do so much for the city and the industry as a whole.

There’s a lot to look forward to in 2026. We’ll be heading there to cover the festival for Creative Boom. If you spot us, come say hello! We’ll be making some fresh content for our many channels.
