Back for a third year, Northern Design Festival (NDF) 2026 promises to be a whirlwind of creativity and inspiration once again, as it celebrates creatives across the North of England. Founded in October 2023 by two friends, Antonia Arbova and Niamh Cartwright, the event, which is voluntarily run, is on a big mission to provide free and accessible opportunities, allowing people from all backgrounds to enter the industry and emerge as successful creatives.

For 2025, the festival welcomed HONDO Studio, Simon Dixon of DixonBaxi, and Typocircle, to name a few. And more big names are expected this time around. I’m proud to be on the Board for NDF and am looking forward to running around Lancaster again, supporting Toni, Niamh and all the festival’s volunteers. See you next May!
